Heavy-Duty Vehicle Mechanic – Garage and Road Services

- You do enjoy working on heavy-duty vehicles, but would like to get out of the garage from time to time?
- You have your PEP card?
- You have repaired bulk trailers with movable floors, “belly” trailers, and/or trucks with PTOs?
- You have welding skills?
- You have expertise in hydraulic, electronic, and pneumatic systems, as well as engines??
We need your expertise to inspect and repair our fleet of bulk trailers (we also have dryboxes), our PTO-equipped trucks, and to serve as our designated road service technician.
Whether it’s during the day, in the evening, or even on weekends—let us know your preferred schedule!
Work location? 675 10th Avenue in Richmond
Here’s what we offer as a baseline, even before we talk about your salary:
- A brand-new, efficiently equipped road service unit;
- Travel allowance for road service calls “if outside regular working hours”;
- Tool allowance ($700/year)
- Group insurance (medical, paramedical, disability, travel, life)
- Sick leave (10 days) and personal leave (3 days)
- $2,000 hiring and retention bonus ($500 after 1 month / $500 after 3 months / $500 after 6 months / $500 after 1 year).
